Аннотация

Objective of the study is to examine the features of the influence of various motor sets on the indicators of motor performance in ski jumpers.

Methods and structure of the study. The influence of the motor sets was assessed in the course of the pedagogical testing of three ski jumpers (aged 23±3 years) performing an upward jump from the ‘jumper’s crouch’ using a linear encoder of the Musclelab system. The values of force (N/kg), power (W/kg), height (cm) and time of the jump (s), as well as the maximum speed of the jump (m/s), were recorded as control indicators. In the course of the mathematical processing of the results, the arithmetic mean and the standard deviation (x±σ), the indicators of dynamics (absolute change (Δ) and relative change (%)) and the indicator of the minimal detectable change with a 95 % confidence interval (MDC95) were calculated.

Results and conclusions. The effect of the motor sets is determined by the level of sporting and technical mastery and preparedness of the ski jumper. The maximum reactivity to various motor sets is possessed by athletes of an average level of preparedness, who demonstrate positive responses in motor performance (force/speed of the jump). The skill-based stabilisation of motor programmes, conditioned by the growth of sporting and technical mastery, reduces the effect of various motor sets in respect of the indicators of motor performance.
